Do and Submit Computing Assignment 1

You can find it here. It’s due by midnight on Friday, October 8. At the bottom on the assignment, I included an example to illustrate what your pdf or docx submission should look like. Note that these examples use a different dataset, different type of plot, etc. They only show you the rough format of the document you should submit.


Read ch. 5 of FPP (the textbook; see the syllabus) and do the assigned review exercises here. Make sure you’re familiar with this exercise that we partially completed in class.

You might find it helpful to review my notes on the normal approximation. They closely follow FPP. You might be especially interested in my recommended steps for using the normal approximation.
